6:16. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಅಡಿ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಗೂ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರದ ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಹೊದಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಳವೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.

6:16. ಅವನು ಮನೆಯ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ನೆಲವನ್ನೂ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇವ ದಾರುಗಳ ಹಲಿಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.

6:16. He built a wall 30 feet in from the rear of the temple as a partition for an inner sanctuary that would be the most holy place. He paneled the wall with cedar planks from the floor to the rafters.

6:16. He partitioned off an inner sanctuary-- the Most Holy Place-- at the far end of the Temple. It was 30 feet deep and was paneled with cedar from floor to ceiling.

6:16. And he built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor unto the walls of the ceiling: he built them for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.

6:16. He built twenty cubits of the rear of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls, and he built this within as an inner sanctuary, as the Most Holy Place.

6:16. And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built [them] for it within, [even] for the oracle, [even] for the most holy [place. ]

6:16. He built twenty cubits of the rear of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the rafters, and he built this within as an inner sanctuary, as the most holy place.

6:16. And he buildeth the twenty cubits on the sides of the house with ribs of cedar, from the floor unto the walls; and he buildeth for it within, for the oracle, for the holy of holies.

6:16. They built an inner room 20 cubits long in the back part of the Temple. This room was called the Most Holy Place. They covered the walls in this room with cedar boards, from floor to ceiling.

6:16. He built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls of the ceiling: he built them for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.

6:16. And he built H1129 H853 twenty H6242 cubits H520 on the sides H4480 H3411 of the house, H1004 both H4480 the floor H7172 and the walls H7023 with boards H6763 of cedar: H730 he even built H1129 [them] for it within H4480 H1004 , [even] for the oracle, H1687 [even] for the most holy H6944 H6944 [place] .
